Tech Logic presents:  Editor’s Choice :: The Eye-Fi SD Card

This week on Tech Logic is Editor’s Choice!

Eye-Fi SD Card

Eye-Fi SD Card

Today I present to you, the magnificent Eye-Fi SD Card!

This nifty little card comes in two storage sizes, 8GB to 16GB, and ranges from $49.99 – $99.

The Eye-Fi SD Card allows you to insert the card into virtually any camera with a SDHC card slot, and stream your photos to your Mac, PC, tablet, or smartphone.

To stream to a smartphone or tablet, all you have to do is download the free app on the Apple, Android, or Kindle store; no wifi required after that!

When you don’t have wi-fi, the card will transmit its own signal so you can stream photos bit-for-bit to your smartphone or tablet.

This small piece of technology allows fast photo sharing, quick uploads, and eliminates the use of cords and external card readers.
