Tech Logic: Favorite App :: The Sims™ FreePlay

Tech Logic presents: Favorite App Week!

I was addicted to the PC , PlayStation, and Xbox platforms of Sims 3, and now it’s in the form of an app. Let’s just say I’m still addicted and this is my favorite app of all time.

The Sims™ FreePlay by Electronic Arts is a free version of the Sims 3 for Apple or Android platforms. It has many of the same features as the PC platform version of Sims 3, with the ability to control multiple Sims, raise a family, earn Simoleans, and complete life goals. You can play the game for months on end without paying for anything, but if you want to level up quickly, or if you just have to have that new cat in the pet store, then you can purchase life points or social points with real money.

With the release of The Sims 3: Island Paradise PC game this past summer, EA has updated The Sims FreePlay with a new island that can be leveled up so you can purchase house boats and customize them.

sim 2You can raise toddler and teen sims as well as earn new content, and hunt ghosts for a hobby. You can own a car, control the weather with special gadgets, and create your one or two-story dream home.

This immersing game-turned-app allows you to own over two dozen houses , multiple Sims, and build business in your town. With HD graphics and smooth screen transitions, Sims FreePlay can be addicting. Just don’t have too many Sims; it can take up to an hour to fulfill all of their needs!

What’s your favorite app? Comment to let us know!
